This week, the students will be examining the lives of the Ancient Indians. They will be describing the type of settlements these ancient peoples lived in. Lastly, they will be exploring the impact that technology and agriculture had on the Indians.

This week, the students will be discussing how farming changed people’s lives and examining what life was like during the Neolithic Age. Lastly, the students will be exploring the characteristics of these early civilizations.
10/7: Make sure that your illustrations are completed because the class will be playing the Vocabulary and Riddle Games tomorrow.
Journal Topic– (page 61 #6) is due typed and illustrated on Friday! You must also hand in your revised rough draft. This project will be worked on in class using the Chromebooks.

This week, the students will continue their study of Europe before transatlantic travel. They will be exploring the Greek and Roman forms of government. They will also be discussing the Middle Ages and the impact the Renaissance had on Europe.

This week, the students will continue their study of the Civil War. This week they will be focusing on the war in the West. They will be examining Ulysses S. Grant’s strategy for the Union’s western campaign. The students will also be discussing the Battle of Shilo and the siege of Vicksburg.
10/8: Finish outlining “Union Strategy in the West” on pages 522-524.

The class will be focusing on the stories of creation and that God is the source of all life. The students will be working in groups to create skits on the First Story of Creation.
