5th Grade
This week the 5th grade will be working on a project dealing with line plots. I will first introduce line plots to them on Tuesday, so we can begin the project in class on Wednesday. After the project has been completed, we will begin classifying triangles and quadrilaterals.

6th Grade
This week the 6th grade will be learning the integer rules for subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers. We will also be practicing evaluating expressions and equations involving integers.

7th Grade
This week the seventh grade will be working on solving one-step inequalities using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Friday will be their review day to prepare for their exam next week.

This week the eighth grade will be beginning transformations. We will be taking figures on a graph and translating them, rotating them, reflecting them, and dilating them.

5th Grade Religion
This week the 5th grade will be beginning Chapter 4 in their religion workbooks. We will be discussing how Baptism is the foundation of Christian life.
