5th Grade
This week the 5th grade will be having a quiz on Thursday, which will cover the metric unit system (meters, liters, and grams). We will review for this quiz on Wednesday. Then we will begin looking at customary units of length including inches, feet, and yards.

6th Grade
This week the 6th grade will be learning about bias in samples and surveys. Then we will be learning how to create and interpret frequency tables when looking at sets of data. Towards the end of the week we will be working on finding the mean, median, mode, and range of a data set as well as creating and reading line plots.

7th Grade
This week the seventh grade will be starting to learn about collinear and non-collinear points and lines. Towards the end of the week they we will be moving onto different types of angles pairs and a set of parallel lies that are cut by a transversal and the different angles it forms.

8th Grade
This week the eighth grade will be having a test on transformations on Tuesday. The rest of the week we will be looking at different types of angle pairs including complementary and supplementary. We will also be looking at different kinds of polygons as well as when two parallel lines are cut by a transversal.

5th Grade Religion
This week the 5th grade will be starting chapter 5 in their religion workbooks that discusses the different parts of the celebration of baptism and also the importance of the different symbols that represent baptism. They will be having a test on this material next Wednesday, January 25th.
