3rd Grade Week at a Glance:

Math:  The students will use analog clock to tell and write time to the nearest minute, relate time on analog and digital clocks, express time as the number of minutes before the hour, measure time intervals in minutes using clock models and number lines, and solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes.

Religion:  In Chapter 16, the children will continue to learn about the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

4th Grade Week at a Glance:  

Math:  The students will rewrite a fraction that has a denominator of 10 as an equivalent fraction with a denominator of 100, rewrite a  that has a denominator of 100 as an equivalent fraction with a denominator of 10, explain the relationship between tenths and hundredths, add two fractions with denominators of 10 or 100, convert decimals into fractions, with denominators of 10 or 100, convert fractions into decimals, with denominators of 10 or 100, and compare two decimals up to hundredths, using the >, <, and = symbols.

Science:  The students will be preparing for for the New York State Science Exam.
