Tentative Homework/Tests/Quizzes/Projects for the Week of June 4th-June 8th.

Reminders: 

1).  New York State Grade 4 Elementary-Level Science Written Test will be given on Monday, June 4th.

2).  On Friday, June 8th, there will be no after school. 

 3). Final Schedule for Grades 3-4:   

Monday, June 11th- Religion

Tuesday, June 12th- ELA

Thursday, June 14th- Math

Friday, June 15th- Social Studies

Monday, June 18th- Science

 

Grade 3:

Science: 

This week, the 3rd Grade will continue working on their Adaptation Books.  

Math:  

This week, the 3rd Grade will Identify items that can be measured in liquid volume units, understand the relative size of a liter, use unit size to estimate liquid volume, solve one-step word problems involving liquid volume, understand that one way objects can be measured is by how heavy or light they are, identify items that can be measured in mass units, understand the difference between liquid volume and mass, understand relative masses of gram and kilogram, use unit size to estimate mass, and solve one-step word problems involving mass.

 

***WE WILL BE REVIEWING FOR ALL OF THE UPCOMING FINALS THIS WEEK. 

 

Homework for this week:  STUDY FOR ALL FINALS!!!!

 

Grade 4

Math: 

This week, the 4th Grade will round decimals to the nearest tenth or nearest one, estimate decimal sums and differences, add and subtract decimals through hundredths, to divide whole-dollar amounts to find the better buy, to solve problems that involve more than one step, and solve problems that use a variety of strategies.
