Principal’s Letter – January 29, 2016

Dear Parents of Ave Maria Catholic Academy,

I hope you and your families coped okay with Winter Storm Jonas. Let’s pray that is the last of any substantial amount of snowfall this year. This Sunday begins Catholic School Week. I invite all of our families and those interested in Ave Maria Catholic Academy to join our staff at the 12:00p.m. Mass on Sunday, January 31st, 2016. Following the Mass, AMCA will have its Open House for families interested hearing all of the wonderful things about our school. During our Open House, families will have the opportunity to tour the school and meet our wonderful staff. This is a great opportunity for our current AMCA parents to spread the great things about our school to your friends and neighbors who are interested in sending their children to a school that instills strong academic excellence and a place where we become closer to Jesus every day.

The calendar of events for Catholic Schools Week was distributed to the students and is posted on the AMCA website. Please view the calendar to see what fun-filled events will be taking place each day.

The eighth grade students have received their results from the TACHS Exam. I am very proud of them as they all have been accepted to their first choice of many wonderful Catholic Schools. On Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 eighth grader Nicholas Cusumano will represent AMCA at the Regional Upper Math Bee. Everyone at AMCA wishes Nicholas the best of luck.

Our biggest fundraiser, Ladies Night Out, will take place on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Roma View. Please Save the Date for this wonderful and fun-filled night.

I cannot thank you enough for allowing the teachers and staff to educate and guide your children. God bless you today, tomorrow, and always.

Best Wishes,

Miss McManus
