For the upcoming Life Cycle Project: Each student needs to do some research on the life cycle of the assigned plant or animal. Then they should draw each stage of the assigned plant or animal’s life cycle. Under each drawing the student is to write a caption, which should be a few sentences long describing what happens during each stage. The Vocabulary words that were given need to be incorporated into the captions. The students can use bigger paper to do their final proect on if they desire.

TENTATIVE HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEKS OF November 14th and 21st:

I am noticing the students need to freshen up on their multiplication facts. Please review these daily with your child. It is imperative that they memorize their facts. They will need to be able to recall these facts fluently in order to move on to long division. I have been giving the students 5 minute fact drills daily. Students should spend at least 15 minutes a night reviewing facts. We began with facts 0-3. Once they pass this drill they will move on to facts 0-4 and so on.
