For The Week of May 21, 2018
The Eighth Grade Math Final will be given on Wednesday, May 15th.
Monday: Monday through Friday the students will be taking prior Algebra One Test, practicing for the June 12th exam. Homework each day will be to finish the packet.
Seventh Grade:
Monday: On Monday, the students will take the second part of the Interest test. There is no homework.
Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will be working on chapter 8-1 “Samples and Surveys”. For homework do problems 12-15 on page 236.
Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will be working on Central Tendency and Range. For homework do problem 12 on page 238.
Thursday: On Thursday, we will be working on Interpreting Data. For homework do problems 13 ad 14 on page 240.
Friday: On Friday, we will be working on (Choosing the Appropriate Graph). There is no homework.
Sixth Grade:
Monday: On Monday, we will be working writing proportions. For homework do problems 25-30 o page 145.
Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will continue working on proportions. For homework do problems 24-30 on page 146.
Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will be working on writing and solving proportions. For homework the students will be asked to write two proportional problems.
Thursday: On Thursday, we will be solving proportions with similar figures. For homework do problems five and six on page 149.
Friday: On Friday we will be working on scale drawings on page 150. There is no homework.
Fifth Grade:
Monday: On Monday, we will be working on finding the circumference of a circle on page 121. For homework do problems 13 ad 14 on page 121.
Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will be working on how to find the area of rectangles and squares. For homework do problems 13-16 on page 138.
Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will be working on finding the area of a triangle on page 138. For homework do problems 10 and 11 on page 139.
Thursday: On Thursday, we will be working on finding the vertices and edges of given objects. For homework do problems 15-18 on page 140.
Friday: On Friday, we will be working on surface area on page 141. There is no homework.
