For the Week of February 3, 2020

Eighth Grade:

Monday: On Monday, we will begin the topic of Volume of a Cylinder. For homework do problems six-nine on page 403.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will continue working on the volume of a cylinder. For homework do problems 19 and 20 on page 404.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will begin the topic of the volume of a Cone. For homework do problems 16-18 on page 409.

Thursday: On Thursday, we will continue working on the volume of cones. For homework complete page 410. There will be a test on the volume of a cylinder and cones on Friday.

Friday: On Friday, there will be a quiz on the volume of a cylinder and cones.

Seventh Grade:

Monday- Wednesday: From Monday through Wednesday the class will work on the project regarding the percent of change. The Project Is Due On Wednesday. For homework on Monday and Tuesday, work on your project. There is no homework on Wednesday:

Thursday: On Thursday, we will review for the test on the percent of change. For homework, review your notes on how to solve the percentage of change.

Friday: On Friday there will be a test on the percent of change. There is no homework.

Sixth Grade:

Monday: On Monday, we will review for the test on Tuesday regarding the Percent of a Number. For homework I will assign five problems that will reflect the test.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, there will be a test on the percent of a number. There is no homework.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will begin finding proportional relationships on a map. For homework do problems seven-nine on page 182.

Thursday: On Thursday, we will continue working on word problems and proportions. For homework do problems 18-21 on page 164.

Friday: On Friday, there will be a handout on proportional word problems. There is no homework.

Fifth Grade:

Monday and Tuesday: On Monday and Tuesday, the class will work on completing the project. For homework on Monday, finish working on the project. There is no homework on Tuesday.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will begin the Metric System. For homework I will assign five problems.

Thursday: On Thursday, we will continue working on the Metric System. For homework, the class will be asked to create five of their own problems.

Friday: On Friday, there will be a quiz on the Metric System. There is no homework.

Fifth Religion:

Monday-Friday: This week we will begin a project and end a project by Friday, regarding Confirmations.
