                                                                                      Eighth Grade:

            The TACH’S Test will be held on Saturday November 3rd. We will continue working on past TACH’S for the remainder of the week and reviewing any problems in question. The home work for Monday-Thursday is to complete at least two pages of the TACH’S handout that we were working on in class.

                                                                                  Seventh Grade:

Monday: On Monday we will review the Pythagorean handout in class. If there are any questions regarding how to solve these types of problems, please feel free to ask for help. For homework, there will be a Pythagorean word problem handout.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will review Monday’s handout and discuss how we may visualize Pythagorean word problems. For homework, the students will be asked to create one Pythagorean word problem and one Pythagorean right triangle problem requiring only the triangle and the given measurements.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will review the students’ homework and we will work on another Pythagorean handout. For homework, study for the test on Pythagorean on Thursday.

Thursday: On Thursday, there will be a test on Pythagorean. There is no homework.

Friday: On Friday, we will start a project on the Pythagorean Theorem. There is no homework.

                                                                                   Sixth Grade:

Monday: On Monday, we will be working on page 129 in the workbook. For homework the students’ will be given four problems to solve.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will review for the dividing with decimals quiz on Wednesday. For homework, study your notes on the quiz topics as well as referring to the pages we completed in the workbook, on the same topic.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, there will be a quiz on dividing with decimals. There is no home work.

Thursday: On Thursday, we will start the topic “Converting Fractions and decimals to solve word problems”. For home work do problems nine-11 on page 134 in the workbook.

Friday: On Friday we will continue working with word problems as we did on Thursday on page 135 in the work book. There is no homework.

                                                                                  Fifth Grade:

Monday: On Monday, we will be working on dividing with the power of 10. For homework do problems five-six on page 293 in the workbook.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, will continue working on dividing with the power of 10. For homework do problems eight -10 on page 293 in the workbook.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will be working on using simple algebra to solve division problems when dividing with decimals. For homework do problems four and five on page 295 in the workbook. Also, study for the quiz on Thursday, regarding dividing with the power of 10.

Thursday: On Thursday, there will be a quiz on dividing with the power of 10. There is no homework.

Friday: On Friday, we will start a project based upon a review as to what the students have learned to date. Addition information will be provided on Friday to the students.
