For the Week of October 22, 2018

Eighth Grade:

Monday: On Monday, we will review and finish packet two for the TACHS Test preparation. For homework I will assign three similar problems from the packet.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will begin the third test packet. This packet will be timed similar to the test. I will assign again three more problems comparable to those found in the packet.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will review for the test on Thursday. For homework I will give three problems that are of the same nature as that of the test.

Thursday: On Thursday, there will be a test on consecutive numbers, finding, for the missing age, or distance via algebra. There is no homework.

Friday: On Friday, we will begin a new practice packet. There is no homework.

Seventh Grade:

Monday: On Monday there will be a test on simple interest. There is no homework.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will begin solving for one step inequalities. For homework complete problems 11-14 on page 209 in the Go- Math workbook.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will continue working on inequalities and adding multi-step inequalities. For homework do problems 14-16 on page 109.

Thursday: On Thursday, we will continue working on inequalities with word problems. For homework do problems 17-20 on page 209 in the workbook.

Friday: On Friday we will finish working on inequalities and word problems. There is no homework.

Sixth Grade:

Monday: On Monday, we will be working on dividing with decimals. For homework do problems 1-6 on page 128 in the Go-Math workbook.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, we will be working with dividing with decimals and word problems. For homework do problems 7-10 on page 128.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will be working with charts, word problems, and dividing decimals combined. For homework do problems 11-14 on page 128 in the workbook.

Thursday: On Thursday we will complete the topic of dividing and decimals. For homework, study for the quiz on Friday, regarding dividing with decimals.

Friday: On Friday, there will be a quiz on dividing with decimals. There is no homework.

Fifth Grade:

Monday: On Monday, we will be working on exponents. Exponents are powers given to whole numbers, also known as constants. For homework do problems 2-4 on page 30 in the Go-Math workbook.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, the religious project is due and will be presented to the class. For math we will continue working on exponents. For homework do problems 5-7 on page 30 in the workbook.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, we will be working on multiplying and exponents. For homework do problems 11-14 on page 128 in the workbook.

Thursday: On Thursday, we will finish working on exponents. For homework do problems 15-20 on page 20 in the workbook. Also study for the quiz on exponents on Friday.

Friday: On Friday, there will be a quiz on exponents. There is no homework.
