Grade 3: Week of 12/16-12/20

This week, the third grade will…

  • Recap and review Chapters 21-30 of Sideways Stories from Wayside School in preparation for our exam on Tuesday.
  • Continue with Grammar review in preparation for our Unit 3 exam on Verbs on Wednesday.
  • Complete Vocabulary Review in our workbook.
  • Work on our multiplication facts through a variety of games and Christmas mystery puzzles.
  • Take an open-book quiz on Italy using the notes and packets we’ve worked on since the beginning of our Country Study.
  • Work on Advent activities that will help us to continue to wait and prepare for the first coming of the Son of God.
  • Attend an Advent Mass with Trimester 1 Awards to follow on Tuesday!
  • Practice for our upcoming performance in the Christmas Show on Wednesday!
  • Enjoy Breakfast with Santa!

Tuesday:

ELA-

  • Grammar- Study for your Unit 3 Test on Verbs. 

Wednesday:

  • Please empty out both your Yellow Specials Folder and Blue Classwork Folder. It is up to you what you keep from both folders. Carefully go through the Blue Folder, as these papers can help you with the Final Exams in June. However, you do not need to keep everything! Keep materials for topics you may have struggled with. Please return to school on Monday, 1/6 with them emptied.

No other homework! See you at the evening show 🙂


Thursday & Friday:
