Ms. Kennedy – Week of 10/3/16

5th Grade

This week the fifth grade will be learning about the steps needed to add, subtract multiply and divide decimals through the thousandths place. Their test will be next Wednesday, October 12. Each day we will be spending on practicing one of the operations with decimals.

6th Grade

This week the sixth grade will be having a test on solving proportions involving percents. Tuesday will be their review day and Wednesday will be their test. The rest of the week will be spent going over how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions, which they learned last year.

7th Grade

This week the seventh grade will be having a test on Wednesday covering how to solve multistep proportional problems. Tuesday will be their review day and they will be receiving their review sheets on Monday, which are to be completed by Tuesday. The rest of the week will be spent reviewing adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals.

This week the eighth grade will be having a quiz on Wednesday covering scientific notation, squares, square roots, cubes and cube roots. The rest of the week will be spent beginning looking at proprotional relationships in the slope of a line and in the equation of a line.

5th Grade Religion

This week the fifth grade will be having a test on Chapter 2 on Friday. Thursday we will be reviewing for the test in class.
