Week at a Glance:

ELA- Superkids: Encode that there are many tricky words spelled with “w”. Be careful how you pronounce and spell them, use a Memory Words to complete sentence provided, encode that sometimes an author tell you how a character feels and sometimes an author shows you how a character feels by describing their actions, start reviewing for ELA final. 

Math- Chapter 7: Find and record the total value for amount greater than $1, tell and write time to the hour and half hour, tell and write time to the nearest 5 minutes, practice telling time to the nearest 5 minutes and tell and write time using A.M. and P.M., and review for Math Final

Science- Ch.2 Unit D-Earth’s Weather: 

S.S.: Chapter 4: Explain How ideas and culture spread from one place to another, identify a map by its title and review for final 

Religion- Chapter 12: To emphasize that Jeus wants us to forgive others. Review for Final

ELA- Superkids: Use editing marks to correct mistakes in a paragraph, use Memory Words to help Ms. Blossom correct her notes and answer questions based on stories in the Reader.

              b) Spelling: screech, leap, fear,curious, board, eager, dangerous, squeeze, village, doubt 

Math- Chapter 7: Find the total value of collections of dimes,nickels and pennies, order coins in a collection by value and then find the total value, respect money amounts less than a dollar using two different combinations of coins and show one dollar in a variety of ways 

Science- Ch.2 Unit D-Earth’s Weather: Explain how water gets into the air, describe the water cycle and identify tools used to measure weather conditions 

S.S.: Chapter 4: 

Religion- Chapter 15: Review and Compelete Test

Chapter 12: To explain how the sacrament of Penance is celebrated and to present how the sacrament of Penance is celebrated individually

ELA- Superkids: Answer questions based on the stories in the reader, encode that when a vowel is alone at the end of the first syllable of a word; it is usually a long vowel and encode that usually when you make a word plural is by adding -s or -es

              b) Vocabulary: Unit 10

Math- Chapter 6: Review and Take Test 

Science- Introduce Ch.2 Unit D “Earth’s Weather”, identify ways the weather can change from day to day explain how eager get into water and describe the water cycle. 

S.S.: Chapter 4: 

Religion- Chapter 15: To present that in the Eucharist we remember and celebrate what Jesus said and did at the Last Supper and to emphasize that the Mass is both a meal and a sacrifice
