Week at a Glance:
ELA– a) Superkids: explain how each vowel has a long and short vowel sound, encode words using letter sound knowledge, encode letter sound correspondence for -sh and -ch, understand and classify nouns,recognize and form possessives and understand and use pronouns.
b) Spelling Words: live, give, most, straw, draw, title, were, ocean, where, skip

Math– Classify numbers up to 20 as odd or even, write equations with equal addends to present even numbers, use place value to describe the values of digits in 2-digit numbers, write 2-digit numbers in expected form, write 2-digit numbers in word form-expanded form & standard form, and apply place value concepts to find equivalent representation of numbers.
Science– Chapter 1: generate prior knowledge of living and Nonliving things, distinguish between living and nonliving objects by sorting pictures, draw conclusions about how a living thing grows, identify what a plant need to grow and identify the parts of a plant.
Religion- present that God the Father sent his son-Jesus-to be with us, explain that Jesus is human like us, teach that Jesus can only do things God can do and emphasize that Jesus, the son of God, taught us about God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.
