Week at a Glance:
ELA– a) Superkids: encode that sometimes homonyms sound alike but are spelled differently, encode that when -le is at the end of a word; the -e is silent, use memory words to complete sentences, encode that short vowels are followed by two consonants when -le is at the end of a word and encode that nouns name people, places and things and verbs are action words.
b) Spelling: evening, present, branch, greedy, wise, trail, brave, dash, stream, pass
c) Reading: guided reading groups
Math– Chapter 2: Use concrete and pictorial models to represent 3-digit numbers, apply place value concepts to write 3-digit numbers that are represented by pictorial models, use place value to describe the values of digits in numbers to 1,000, and read/write 3-digit numbers in word form.
Science– Review and complete Chapter 1 Test.
