Week at a Glance:
ELA– a) Superkids: encode that words with an -er ending often tells you what a person or thing does, encode that if a base word ends in -e take off the -e and add -er.
b) Spelling: wave, beach, center, wonder, seashell, finally, stack, idea, ocean, tiny
Math– Chapter 3: Review and take Ch.3 quiz, find differences on a number line to develop the mental strategy of decomposing to simplify facts and use bar models to represent a variety of addition and subtraction situations.
Science–
S.S.- Chapter 1: Identify ways people and places change, compare photographs of a place at different times and describe and measure calendar time by days, weeks, months and years.
Religion- Chapter 4: to emphasize that we celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism with special words and actions and to highlight that we show we are children of God by what we say and do.
