Week at a Glance:
ELA– a) Superkids: Encode that adjectives describe people, places and things, encode that y at the beginning of a word is a consonant; y at the end of a word is a vowel saying -i or -e; and when y is at the end of a short word it says -i, answer questions based on the readings in the reader, encode the letter sound correspondences for s & z and recognize syllables.
b) Spelling: cross, signal, worry, bench, travel, deep, fresh, bridge, crowd, frown
c) Writing: Descriptive Writing using adjectives.
Math– Chapter 2: Review and complete test
Science–
S.S.- Chapter 1: work on community project in groups, describe the different roles people play in their family, school and community and recognize the need for cooperation in a group.
Religion- Chapter 3: to introduce that the Church celebrates with seven special signs called sacraments, to emphasize that Jesus is present with us in the sacraments and review the chapter.
